Personal Still-life
Homework assignment: Bring a still-life photograph in black and white.
Guidelines:
•Find 5 small objects (or more) to draw. The objects must describe you. Objects can be symbolic or literal reflection of you.
•The objects must fit on the paper (A baseball bat will not work)
•The objects must be appropriate for school.
•Arrange the objects on a white piece of paper. Put a light source and take a picture. Print in black and white and bring to class by 10/31 WED.
•Be creative! Here are some suggestions to get you thinking: A key, a photograph, a button, an old concert ticket, playing cards, baseball cards, a seashell, a beaded necklace, a charm, a penny, a dog tag, an old letter or postcard, a candy wrapper, a dried flower…
•If you need help on taking a picture, bring your objects to school and come to art tutorial on Monday 10/29 or Tuesday 10/30.
